As a certified Cat Friendly Practice, we do everything we can to provide a calming environment for cats and minimize their stress. Cats often disguise their illness, so it is crucial for them to receive regular examinations. Often the stress of bringing cats to the hospital prevents them from receiving the important veterinary care they need. At Moorpark Veterinary Hospital we strive to help our feline friends have a pleasant visit.
Cat Only Lobby
We provide a dedicated cat-only entrance and lobby designed to create a quieter, more comfortable experience for our feline patients. Your cat can also enjoy a warm towel infused with Feliway calming pheromones, helping them feel more relaxed from the moment they arrive.
Cat Only Exam Room
Our cat-only exam room provides a quiet, comfortable space for check-in and veterinary care, away from dogs and other potential stressors. The room features a floor-to-ceiling window, giving curious cats the opportunity to watch birds, squirrels, and the world outside while they wait. It’s all part of creating a calmer, more comfortable experience for our feline patients.
Cat Only Treatment Area
Our cat-only treatment room provides a dedicated, peaceful space where feline patients can receive care away from other pets. Large windows allow cats to comfortably observe the activity around them without being in the middle of it, helping create a more relaxed and low-stress environment throughout their visit.
