Why is everything so bright?

Glaucoma is a painful condition where excess pressure in the eye can cause poor fluid drainage. Pets may exhibit being sensitive to light or resist having their head or face touched. Glaucoma can ultimately lead to permanent damage and blindness. This condition is important to diagnose and treat as soon as possible. This outpatient diagnostic procedure involves a noninvasive measurement off of the surface of the eye.  We will numb the surface of the eye to help pets feel comfortable for this quick procedure. While Glaucoma cannot be cured, it can often be managed to slow the damage done to the eye and your pet’s pain can be controlled.
