We are very proud of having two Registered Veterinary Technicians on our team. They are state credentialed veterinary staff specially educated in areas such as surgical assistance, animal behavior, and medications.
The program is rigorous, and many practices don’t have any RVTs on staff. Surgery is simply safer when a state licensed RVT is on hand, as they are trained to assist the attending veterinarian. Although there is always a low risk associated with anesthesia, that risk can be lowered further by having an RVT at your pet’s side.
We go the extra mile to make sure your pet stays warm and comfortable during the procedure. Whether it is a heated air blanket, a warm water blanket beneath them, an IV fluid warmer, or via our comfortable surgical socks, your pet’s comfort is our priority.
