The staff at Moorpark Vet is proud of our place in the neighborhood, and firmly believe in giving back to the community in a myriad of ways. From our quarterly events to our annual holiday traditions, we strive to be more than just your local veterinary office.

  • We offer an annual scholarship for Moorpark High School
  • We host quarterly events for our clients, from lectures to holiday parties
  • We adopt a family each Christmas
  • We do an annual sponsorship package with Ventura County Animals Services
  • We host Flory Elementary School for Career Day with instruction on careers in veterinary medicine
  • Dr. Barrett participates in Kiwanis, which helps support children of the community
  • We offer tours to the Girl Scouts of America and help with their Career Day
  • We lecture at Cal Lutheran’s Pre-Veterinary Club
  • We participate in the Kong Program; every time you buy one, we donate one to an animal in need
