Unlike human hospitals, veterinary hospitals aren’t required to be accredited. AAHA accreditation is voluntary, meaning we choose to meet over 900 high-level standards in:
✔️ Patient care & safety
✔️ Surgery & anesthesia protocols
✔️ Cleanliness & diagnostics
✔️ Client communication & service
Our hospital is regularly evaluated to ensure we maintain these high standards.
✅ Higher Quality Care – Your pet gets medical treatment that meets the highest standards.
✅ Safer Procedures – Strict safety protocols for anesthesia, surgery, and pain management.
✅ Better Diagnostics – Advanced equipment for accurate results and faster diagnoses.
✅ Compassionate Service – Our team is dedicated to exceptional care for every pet.
Our AAHA accreditation is our commitment to gold-standard veterinary care every day.

Since 2007, Moorpark Veterinary Hospital has been an accredited member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). We voluntarily undergo regular comprehensive uations and on-site inspections by AAHA to ensure that we comply with the association’s rigorous standards for veterinary care.
Fewer than 15% of all veterinary hospitals achieve this high level of certification.
