Happy Birthday to Us!

Hard to believe, but Dr. Schwartz opened Moorpark Vet on this date in 1990. At the time, Moorpark was half the size it is today and so were we. Dr. Schwartz had a successful practice at another veterinary hospital but dreamed of opening his own. Encouraged by friends, family and neighbors, he went for it. It wasn’t exactly a picnic to start from scratch, but, as the saying goes, “If you build it, they will come.” And come they did. In 1999 Moorpark Vet underwent extensive remodeling that doubled its size. Fast forward to today. It’s been 22 fulfilling and challenging years. We’ve been fortunate to have such a wonderful and devoted “family” that includes thousands of pets and their people. Please join us in raising a glass and toasting (we’re drinking Diet Coke) to our favorite veterinary hospital, to the people and pets that make it possible, and to many more successful years.

21 Years in Moorpark!

We're celebrating our anniversary! Moorpark Veterinary Hospital opened its doors for the very first time in May, 1990. 21 years later we've helped tens of thousands of pets and their people. It has been an honor to be of aid to so many, to have gotten to know so many people, and to have made a positive influence in the lives of many. Thanks to all the pet parents out there! -Dr Al Schwartz
